I have spent the past year photographing and recording my surroundings and then going onto paint and draw an abstract, emotional response to my experiences. I am usually responding to both the weather conditions and the changing hours of light. I think it's also inevitable that this is entwined with domestic events and sometimes happenings on a global scale, natural phenomena or man made events.
